How long have you been an adjuster? 
I have been an adjuster since February of 2015.

How long have you been with AGA?
I have been an adjuster with AGA since my start in 2015.

When did you become licensed as an adjuster in the state of MN?
I have been licensed as an adjuster with the state of MN since the beginning of 2015. I am also able to do adjusting in the states of Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota.

What schooling or certifications do you have?
I have a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from University of South Dakota & CE requirements for MN

Why did you get into adjusting?
When I left Law Enforcement, I began selling multiple lines of insurance. After 5 years of selling insurance, I became tired of the office environment and being stuck behind a desk. I enjoyed being self-employed and being in the insurance industry, and adjusting has been a good fit.

What’s your favorite part of being an adjuster?
My favorite part of being an adjuster is being able to get out on the road and visit with clients and the personnel at the collision repair shops. It is not unusual for me to spend 10 minutes addressing damages on a vehicle and then 45 minutes conversing about everything else but the damages. I have been invited into many homes and man caves to look at dead animals hanging on walls. Hunting stories are always my favorite.

Anything else you want us to know?
I enjoy hunting during the fall and early winter months. During the summer months, my family and I spend most of our weekends at our camper in the Black Hills of South Dakota. We spend a lot of time riding the trails in the national forest on our side-by-side off road vehicle and just enjoying all that nature has to offer.
