How long have you been an adjuster?
I started in the body shop in 1972. Painted my first car then. Worked in body shops as a tech, a estimator and manager until I became and adjuster in 2000.
How long have you been a sub for AGA?
I started AGA in 2015 and worked periodically for them since
Do you have any specialties?
Most of the time I was the heavy frame and uni-body guy. I also both worked and managed in a heavy duty truck shop
What schooling or certifications do you have?
I am I-Car and ASE certified I have a masters degree in Psychology and am a Minnesota licensed LADC.
Hobbies/special interests?
Travel. I live abroad nearly half the year
Why did you get into adjusting?
I started with one of the large insurance company when the pay was good and the benefits were better.
What’s your favorite part of being an adjuster?
People. I never thought I would like dealing with people but helping them through unfamiliar trouble is rewarding
When did you become licensed as an adjuster in the state of MN?
I became independent in 2015
Anything else you want us to know?
When I was in the Navy I worked on Fighter jets fixing bullet holes. Actual title was aircraft structural mechanic.
